    The CPCU program has FIVE required courses:
    510 - Foundations of Risk Management, Insurance, and Professionalism
    520 - Insurance Operations, Regulation, and Statutory Accounting
    530 - The Legal Environment of Insurance
    540 - Finance for Risk Management and Insurance Professionals
    560 - Financial Services Institutions

    Then you can choose Personal or Commercial Concentration to complete the EIGHT course requirement.

    COMMERCIAL
    551 Commercial Property Risk Management and Insurance
    552 Commercial Liability Risk Management and Insurance
    553 Survey of Personal Risk Management, Insurance, and Financial Planning

    PERSONAL
    555 Personal Risk Management and Property-Liability Insurance
    556 Personal Financial Planning
    557 Survey of Commercial Risk Management and Insurance

    Credit is given for a number of insurance classes previously taken, so call the Institute (800)644-2101 to get updated on your personal requirements needed to complete the CPCU program.

    Tests are taken on the computer through proctored sites and each course exam for CPCU is three hours.
